The Ocean Isle Beach 14th Annual Flotilla is TONIGHT! It kicks off around dusk from Inlet View Restaurant and travels down the ICW and ends circling the backwater in front of Sharky’s sometime between 7 and 8. (FYI….low tide around approx. 7PM tonight)
If you’re looking for some places to view the boats passing, this map should help. It’s going to be a beautiful day & evening so be aware…it’s going to be PACKED! We always like to get over to the view mid afternoon to relax by the water’s edge and watch all the boats set up and line up. (Bring your chairs, blankets, coolers, etc…it’s a great time!) Don’t forget to go up to the View for a snack, a meal or a cocktail. It’s their last weekend open until February!
Once the boats have passed, we generally make our way over to Sharky’s to watch the finish. Again…it’s crowded!!…but you can find a good spot to watch the finish. Just remember to be kind to your neighbors and spread some Holiday cheer!
