Tony Alderman-Life on The Lower Cape Fear

If you’re looking for something new and exciting to do this weekend, look no further! Spend your Saturday in Southport! As if the shopping, the restaurants & the views are not enough…you have the North Carolina Maritime Museum presenting a brand new exhibit from note Durham based (and Carolina shore lover), Tony Alderman entitled “Life On The Lower Cape Fear: Highlights of Brunswick County.

If you don’t know Tony and his art, this is the perfect time to discover him! Tony has spent the last 4 years or so bringing Brunswick County, its beauty, its people and its history to life in his paintings. This is an exhibit that will continue through March 24th which you simply do not want to miss. The exhibit begins with a 5:30 PM reception and remember…the museum is open all day so you can discover the beauty and history of our area.
