Patriotism is alive and well at Ocean Isle Beach! Evidence that fact in the throngs of people who both participated in and lined the streets to view the annual July 4th Parade on OIB.
Once again this year Ocean Isle Beach celebrated Independence Day with its annual Fourth of July Parade, sponsored by the Ocean Isle Property Owners Association. The parade was held on Thursday, July 4th.
The parade drew locals and visitors with hundreds of people, golf carts, cars & trucks decked out in patriotic fashion participating in the parade and even hundreds more lining the streets and watching.
The parade assembled at and filled the lot adjacent to the Museum of Coastal Carolina; began the parade route on 2nd Avenue and continued east to Lee St with every block packed with patriotic spectators cheering the participants along!
